Mr. Mettler has been with the firm since its inception in 1962. Mr. Mettler specializes in estate, tax and real estate law. He has practiced law in the Town of Palm Beach for 50 years. He served on the Palm Beach Town Council from 1975 - 1982, and was elected council president in 1981 and 1982. Mr. Mettler is also a former Municipal Judge for the Town of Palm Beach, former chairman of the town's Employee Retirement System Board, and a former director of First National Bank of Palm Beach and Atlantic National Bank. He is a member of the Palm Beach County, and Florida American Bar Associations, he has also served on the Board of Good Samaritan Hospital, Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adults, Palm Beach County Community Foundation, Palm Beach Civic Association, Raymond Kunkel Foundation and related charitable organizations. Mr. Mettler received both his undergraduate and law degree from The Ohio State University. Mr. Mettler and his wife Sally reside in Palm Beach and have four children and eleven grandchildren.
